Career search workshops at Camp Parks in Dublin, California are open to all branches of the service - Active military about to return to civilian life, Reservists, Veterans, and Spouses. Workshops are on second and fourth Thursdays each month. Much of the work will be on translating military terms to civilian terms so people can understand your resumes and know when you are the right (and best) person for the job they want to fill. Come on down and bring your questions. Bring hard copies of jobs you believe you are qualified for or are interested in. If you have a current resume, bring an electronic copy and a hard copy. And, to keep Camp Parks Security happy, bring your current driver's license, current car registration, and current proof of insurance. If you don't have current registration and insurance, ride with a friend who does have them.
These workshops are an ideal first step for the Wednesday night meetings in Livermore.
